This was the first time I had ever used Alamo. I waited 45 minutes in line to get a car . The staff member was very polite and offered me an upgrade at a cost as I was in FL for my birthday and my wedding. I waited another 10 minutes in the garage as their seemed to be confusion about which car I was to be given. The staff said ok take this one I guess and put me in a black Mercedes c300. The night before my wedding 4/21/17 the vehicle lost power steering on my way to my rehearsal dinner. We were stranded at a friends house. I spent almost an hour on the phone with the Alamo roadside assistance who told me the car would be towed away after midnight and my friend would have to be up to give them a key. I was promised a replacement of whatever they could provide to be delivered to my Fiance's residence at a different address but I would have to be present for them to leave the car. I was promised a text with estimated times which I never received. We missed our rehearsal dinner and then had to pay a service $78 to go pick up a friend flying into town for the wedding because I had no car to get her. Finally I called the roadside line again and was given an estimated time of midnight to receive a replacement vehicle by someone named Cole in Largo and she explained the computer system couldn't send text although I was promised information in that manner. I then asked if I cancelled the replacement car because it was just too late would I still be charged. She told me that was a different department and she couldn't promise me anything. I missed my rehearsal dinner with 10 friends then missed spending any time with anyone because I was on the phone and very upset. Around 10:30pm Ireceived a call from a tow truck driver insisting he was told only to drop off the replacement car at my friends address where he was picking up the Mercedes. Then his boss called and started rudely informing me they were only dropping off where picking up. She received a fax I assume from Alamo at the same time and said I am sorry the car will be brought out to you as a new person at Alamo filed this information incorrectly. The car a Cadillac which was not clean was left with us around midnight. I was made to stay up late on the eve of my morning wedding. And we cleaned the car ourselves. The car had a little less than 3/4 tank of gas. When I returned the car to PBI I told the staff that it was not full when I got it. Nor was I asked to sign any paper work at drop off. I saw yesterday that a $36 charge was applied to my credit card by Alamo I assume for gas. I can tell you that this company caused me great distress. How can you replace a dinner that was on the eve of one of the most important days of my life with friends that flew in from across the country? And then caused me such anxiety by the way it was handled I spent the entire night dealing with your inept staff. The staff needs to be trained on courtesy and proper procedures as well as a review of your procedures. I have been trying to communicate with Alamo since April 23rd. They offered me $160 refund which I asked them to reconsider. Since I have received a few general messages that someone will be I touch. No one has. NEVER AGAIN

Left my computer in a rental car and I filled a list item report but the company had still not gotten back to me in three weeks. I have called four times since and all they say Is I have to wait. There can't be that many lost items that it takes over three weeks for them to get back to me. In going to have to drive up to Harrisburg to see if I can pick it up

Quick, friendly service at the counter. They gave me a newer model that was clean that good gas mileage. Overall I was very happy going through Alamo.

Made it to the counter and the customer service representative was friendly , courteous and put me in a good mood after a flight that was struck by lightening.. among other things
